I wish I had remembered to phone earlier, but the school was completely unforgiving about their cancellation policy, and wouldn’t give us the option to reschedule for what I believe constituted extenuating circumstances. Given our situation, my first thought was not to call the school and cancel our appointment - it slipped my mind and I called later that evening when we realized we were missing the event. However, as of Saturday her condition suddenly became worse, and we spent the afternoon at the emergency room. As of Friday 1/10, we had expected to still make our Saturday reservation. Unfortunately, my wife has lately been feeling ill.
We originally had this scheduled in November, but the school cancelled on us at the last minute, so we rebooked for January. My wife and I were gifted a dinner here for our wedding and were very much looking forward to this.
